What You Need to Know About The INFP Male
Male INFPs make up approximately 2-5% of the human population. Like female INFPs, these individuals are dreamy idealists, but male INFPs lean more towards taking life seriously and examining themselves deeply, seeking their purpose in the world through everything they do.
These INFPs’ journeys through life are challenging in the sense that everything for them is a learning experience. They seek out things in life that attune to their need for self-improvement. The journey they take comes from a place of deep thought and reflection. This all comes from the many traits an INFP possesses and how they express themselves in the male psyche.
Emotional sensitivity
INFPs are the true empaths in this world. In the INFP male, this makes them a true emotional chameleon who takes this trait to the next level. They are so in tune with the world around them and the emotions of other people that they are able to feel those emotions; to the point where they can constantly change to match the moods of the companions they surround themselves with.
The INFP male views this as one of their most important qualities. Being able to emotionally reach another human being in a way that they can then help that person relieve their burden or, on the other hand, it comes naturally for them to acclimate to a positive atmosphere and relax in it.

INFP men in conflict
INFP males are uncomfortable when faced with any type of conflict. But when thrown into the middle of it, these males will try to diplomatically talk it out in a level-headed manner. Sometimes when another individual seeks honest feedback, a fear of hurting that person's feelings will cause an INFP male to withhold information at the risk of potential conflict.
Because INFPs are observant individuals, INFP males over time learn that there are some conflicts that they cannot mediate their way out of. If they are faced with this reality, where compromise cannot be made, and conflict cannot be dissolved, they will do what is necessary for them.
Although this will make them uncomfortable, in the end, they will take measures to protect themselves, even though it will most likely make them feel guilty afterward.
Personal beliefs
INFP males make sure to be aware of the world that they live in. They strive to be good people and do everything to ensure their moral compass stays pointing in what they believe is the right direction.
When these beliefs are challenged, it can be one of the few times when they surprise the people around them with the way they step up and defend their judgment, becoming outspoken and opinionated in a way that often their own personalities hold them back.
That does not necessarily mean that INFP males are set in their ways. Because of the curiosity they possess, they actively seek out the truths of life. If they find an argument truly compelling, they will find there is enough cause to potentially change where they stand.
INFP males crave learning and growth and are not known to stubbornly stand in one place in terms of their opinions. It is only when they feel truly secure in their beliefs, knowing they align with their moral compass, that they will stay true and defend what they believe is right.
This is because they are always looking to improve themselves. They are aware that to grow, they must learn and proceed through life with an open mind. They constantly question themselves, looking for logical flaws in their beliefs, with the concern that their own biases could be influencing their outlook in some way.
INFP males feel a deep sense of responsibility to get it right, to see all sides of everyone. Their humility allows them to let their own ideas about morality evolve, so they are forever changing. That way, life will take them in many spontaneous directions.
